Ah ... well in the immortal words of the late but extremely gifted Gilda
Radner's Rosanne Rosanna-Danna: "Never Mind".

I don't remember if I brough this up before, but there is a link on JAG's
site: http://www.jagshouse.com/macterminal.html

But I can't really follow his instructions with any success, but I think
telnet may be the only way I will ever be able to network from a 128k. If
that's so, then you'll be able to network from every Mac to every Mac,
regardless of operating system or networking capabilities. I had high hopes
that Tiger was going to extend AppleTalk networking protocols through some
kind of software bridge, but I doubt it. The only way to do it in your case
is to install the System 6 networking options (which is not possible without
a hard drive and at least 4MB RAM to run it all) OR run a System 7 Mac as a
file server to serve as a bridge to OSX. Depending on how you find System 7
working on your Classic II, it may or may not be worth sticking a Mac Plus
in a cool room somewhere running an AppleShare bridge for your ClassicII --
stick something like OClock on it and you've got yourself a cool, useful
(and quiet) clock that won't burn the screen phosphor too!
