Well! If I brown it in the microwave, I have a large glass bowl into which I place a colander, plastic, of course, and put in the meat, and microwave it 2 to four minutes; then the grease magically drains into the bowl. To get out more, like the lady who just responded to you, I rinse it. A doc had recommended that years ago! If doing it in the skillet, I remove the meat with a slotted spoon and dump the grease into a can for later disposal, waiting 'til I have a full can to toss, and I use coffee cans for that, and put in it my bacon drippings, other related stuff!

THe one about separating eggs and browning ground beef. It is much appreciated. I have another one, when you brown meat, how do you safely drain the fat or grease? I've never done this myself, and wondered if you had any suggestions. Thank you for any help you can provide.
