We discussed the tradeoffs of unique bsp names.

Ultimately we chose the current system because



1.       It's not technically trivial to enforce a unique namespace on 
arbitrary workshop files given the current workshop architecture.

2.       We'd rather not create namespace scarcity and incentivize name 
squatting.

3.       Mappers to-date have strong incentives to differentiate their work so 
a real problem of multiple identical bsps is currently theoretical.


I agree that it's a bit inconvenient to look up the id when setting the command 
line arguments whenever one wants to change the start map on a server but I 
think this might be a bit hyperbolic: "inconveniencing every single other 
person who wants to use the map. "
