A Reflection on Today's Scripture:
In today's Psalm we are encouraged to praise the Lord with all our
heart. These words "with all our heart" carries a great message. If
we allow our hearts to be consumed by issues that arise each day, how
are we able to praise God rightly! Our Lord is with us every moment
of every day. Letting go of our burdens to him and receiving His
grace can cleanse our hearts to allow our inner self to praise Him as
we should. We are all needy at times in our lives, more often than we
think or want to admit. If we would recognize the needs in each
other, we will open up our own heart to be filled with the compassion
of Christ himself. In return, He will give us the grace to carry one
another's burdens and we'll become a true people of God, with hearts
that freely praise Him. For Jesus is Lord of all and deserving of our
highest praise. Let us join together as one people to give God honor
and glory. For he truly is our Abba.
