>I think SPEWS is working just great. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
>Covad had to actually do something other than ignore the abuse complaints about their spam spewing customers. Correction, Covad elected to do something about it. And who are you to accuse everyone on those IP address blocks that they are spreading spam? The persons who posted this issue had nothing to do with the listing. Spews listed the whole IP block, not just the IP involved. That is what is wrong with Spews. >Again we are dealing with ignorant people who cannot be bothered to read documentation or FAQ's but would rather rant and rave at the injustice and unfairness of it all and pull the old poor me routine instead of addressing and resolving the problem. Excuse you, but we can do nothing about a listing. Only the ISP can do that. Covad chose to correct it, but most other ISP could care less. For example, our ISP is SBS, AKA Pacific Bell. They are a large ISP. But all of their IP blocks are listed in SPAMBAG because they do/did have dialup accounts on the IP range. I have contacted SBS many times requesting them to get the listing corrected. But they state they will look into it and then nothing happens. There is nothing I can do other than changing ISP. But if I go to a new ISP, how do I know that their IP blocks are not going to be listed? (Aside from the other problems that would occur do to changing ISP.)
