I merged your PRs and submitted an update. It just needs karma now:

snapshot IMO. The package is owned by rust-sig, so I submitted an update
that adds the Obsoletes.

@decathorpe, @sgallagh?

openssl-devel engine tried, but the Obsoletes didn't include the epoch.
I reopened the bug and submitted two pull requests:

The library and the binary should be split into separate packages.
For both the stable and the compat versions of the package.
This will make the libs coinstallable and also lighten the footprint
of future installations.

This is bad. We should somehow make python3-protobuf3 coinstallable
with python3-protobuf, probably by renaming the module. Unfortunately then
the consumers would need to be update to use the new module version :(
'fedrq wr -S python3-protobuf3 | wc -l' says 30 packages would need to
be updated.

I think this _must_ be solved somehow, otherwise we'll have too many
installation problems.

Arrgh. The revert was merged IIRC, is this solved now?
