You mean from Sun's site, downloaded automatically by the installer?
I've been threatened by web sites when I asked if I could write a tool
to parse their site and automatically derive content from it, but they
may not have had a leg to stand on. It depends. But if the downloader
utility skips the license agreement on the web site, Sun would likely
have something to say about that - and maybe the optional registration
thing too. We simply need a "heavy" version of the webinstaller that
includes the JRE. And the light version can perhaps chain to the heavy
version if it doesn't find an installed JRE of a suitable version.
