OK, then color me confused.
If an RSP is getting screwed, and _WE_ don't have the authority to
MAKE NSI obey the rules, and we need to get a domain moved, how
exactly do we convince the only people with authority (you guys) to
make that happen.
I, also, have an issue in with denied-transfers. It's been 12+ days,
still "Pending Registry Approval" (even though support assured me
that it automatically times out of the system in 10 days, but we
won't even go there). The customer has not received any notification
from NSI, because we told them to be on the lookout for it "because
NSI have been pricks of late, trying to make it hard to leave".
If SRS/Tucows isn't willing to actually DO the registrar thing (e.g.,
playing the games with ICANN and other registrars), then what exactly
is SRS/Tucows doing to earn its markup?
What is the RSP and/or customer-recourse path, if NSI refuses to obey
its ICANN obligation to let the domain go? Near as I can tell, the
RSP has no recourse, and neither does the domain-holder. It all seems
to rest solely with the winning registrar.
