Interesting.

That's not been my experience.  With proper documentation,
and an explanation of why the chargeback isn't warranted,
I've had several reversed.

Our experience has been that when a customer claims their Credit Card was
used fraudulently, there is no documentation you can provide which will
prevent the chargeback. We have had chargebacks dating 18 months from the
date of purchase.
