To Stephen,

I don't see that the certification as worthless just because you could
pass it using existing knowledge. The RHCE doesn't certify that you
can take the distro apart and put it back together, it certifies that
your knowledge is such that you are capable of fixing the most common
problems that are encountered. Your being able to pass it without
distro-specific knowledge is more a compliment to your skill set than
a implication of the RHCE's scope.
