I think it's great as a proof of concept, something to show at a talk and
say "hey look at what we can do and this is how you should protect
yourself" but leaving it on 24/7 is definitely an uncomfortable thing and
huge breach of privacy, legal or illegal.

Even if it can be done, I believe there should be a certain expectation of
privacy.
