I do want the storage facility as I have 700Gb of music at present. Netbook would do it but it wouldn't be silent. I'm pricing up a fanless Atom based motherboard in a Mini ITX case with a laptop style psu. It's coming up around £200. Admittedly I have to add a HDD to this. Would I notice the difference in performance playing my music from a SATA harddrive or an external USB harddrive?
