I use sync almost every day and overall it's very robust, never a worry. But I do listen to a fair amount of gapless music. For me the short resync gap at the beginning of every (gapless) track is the biggest weakness of the whole Logitec/SlimDevices system. I find I actually steer away from gapless music when my players are synced because the (admittedly very short) resync gap has begun to annoy me so much. I am hoping that Logitech make achieving continuous synced gapless play a priority. My impression is that quite a few people plump for the much less featured Sonos system due to this one single deficiency.
If I was Logitech I'd be supplying a date when this facility will definitely be available and paying the appropriate developer double time time till he's got it sorted.
