Actual non-technical users, not so much.
For the "actual non-technical users" you're describing, they're already hitting the "report as spam" (or an "unsubscribe" button helpfully provided in the past few years) - which has cut down on the "Hey, stop sending me email" messages to the entire list that Matt mentioned. Which took non-zero effort to change MUAs and webmail services and back-ends, let's not forget. Maybe that's unfair - after all, much of how those buttons work is because MLM operators changed their software to include additional information in special headers. Huh. Seems like an interesting example of how MLM operators *can* change their software in response to broad changes in the ecosystem... --S. _______________________________________________ dmarc-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://www.dmarc.org/mailman/listinfo/dmarc-discuss NOTE: Participating in this list means you agree to the DMARC Note Well terms (http://www.dmarc.org/note_well.html)
