Well, shoot. I can see my system alert sounds in Emailer, but now I cannot remember if there were any other details in getting Emailer to see them. In fact, upon closer inspection, there are sounds listed by emailer which are not on my present system. So... I went and looked at Emailer with ResEdit, and saw that there is a sound resource listed there. I'm not sure if it is the default sound or a sound copied from a system folder. Perhaps someone else would know why Emailer lists files which are not sounds in the system.
