Just to clear the air (Doug understands, but Phillippe appears not to, and I don't want list members to get the wrong idea). I'm not proposing that Doug send me his stuff to sell. I told Doug how to sign up for the LEM Swap list himself, and recommended that before he throw out or give away the items, he list them on the swap list for sale. It costs nothing to try to sell them that way. The mac Doug is saying he may send to me is the potentially broken G3. This is not so I can sell it for him, this is because I told him if he was going to throw it out, I'd pay the shipping costs to have it sent to me. My intentions with it are to examine it and see if I can get it up and running. If not, then I am just out the shipping costs. Certainly if someone else wants to buy it from him (or assist him in options to get it running himself as Phillipe is doing), then by all means do so. I want to see Doug get the most he can for his unwanted equipment. Since my original reply went to Doug offlist, I'm sure none of you were aware of the details.
