In Digest V2004 #46, the person identified as Doug McAdam
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> hunted and pecked out the following:
>I had thought of either an Super EMac or an IMac
>flat screen and now John Verity has me thinking about a G4. Then I have
>the problem of dumping/selling my old external scsi Syquest, Zip, Imation
>and Monitor along with an old Epson 740i.
Or you could order a G4 (like I did) from Apple and get a SCSI card to
put in it (a snap... and I'm not the greatest "mechanic", due to an extra
ration of thumbs!). I'm still happily using my second-hand MicroTek
ScanMaker scanner, external Zip drive, and an old Gig Hammer external
drive (for brief storage of large files). Why replace externals that are
still doing the job... unless you're just looking for excuses to spend
money?(g)
