Hello, when the plasma is at an angle to work, it is more difficult for 
the control to 'see' the height ( one side of the surface is often gone 
). Similar to drilling a sphere, its easy when the drill path is a 
radius to center, but difficult when off center, very difficult as you 
approach the equator ( glancing cut ).

  The usual THC technique of voltage difference is used, but the control 
must be more robust and the loop quicker to react. Several manufacturers 
rave about their implementations of bevel cutting.

Some inspection of their methods may be useful.
