That certainly makes sense. The group entry could very well be tied to an email address property of a contact and not necessarily the contact itself. In that case, as long as the email address remains in the contact, it might keep the link with the group entry. In your case you simply demoted the email address to non-default status, but left it alone (you probably didn't delete it and then add it back again as a secondary address). It may be that the group-contact linking is tied to "email address 1" of the contact and when you demote an address like you did it still retains the property "email address 1" (even though it is not the contact's default anymore. I think this is borne out when you export your address book. If a contact's email address had been the first email address, it will be email address 1 whether it is now the default or not. Paul can probably theorize better as he's more familiar with the group's linking to contacts and with the labels and properties of the various contact fields. -Remo Del Bello -- "Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger." - Gildor Inglorion in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
