I'm having the same problem. However, I HAVE to leave copies on the servers, since I need all my mail to be on more than one computer, and I don't want to use IMAP. I want local copies available on both my work and home machines. But that still doesn't explain why Entourage would download mail it just downloaded a couple hours before.
