Beth, Like Louise, I, too, was able to intermittently send e-mail earlier this week using my "original" Earthlink server settings. No readily-apparent rhyme or reason... sometimes the server worked (and I wasn't aware it worked until _much_ later when a copy eventually showed up in my Sent Items folder), and sometimes it didn't. It wasn't until I changed to the "current" Earthlink server settings that I was able to consistently send e-mail again. Knowing that, it seems to me that Louise's settings could still plausibly be at least part of the issue. Eagerly awaiting Earthlink's explanation which will eternally elucidate and enlighten our Entourage experts... ;-) Gene
