Since Louise says that she got an error: "The server did not recognize the recipients or the server refuses to allow you to send mail. Explanation Please configure your mail client to use authentication. Error: 5550 " she ought to set up that smtpauth.earthlink.net. server for sending, and the check to require authentication. I recall that once upon a time, Earthlink used to need people to Receive before they Send. That's a sort of feeble type of authentication (it needs your password) which shouldn't be necessary now. Maybe they still require it, or maybe it's better NOT to now. (It shouldn't really matter, but you never know.) She could check her Send & Receive All schedule and try moving Send top last or first action. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP MacOffice Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/index.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using - **2004**, X or 2001.
