The product info on the 1.4x says manual focus only with EF 400mm f/5.6L or
500mm f/4.5L, which implies it WILL autofocus with the EF 100-400mm
f/4.5-5.6 IS...are you speaking from experience? A friend of mine got this
lens recently and is now interested in a TC.
