To switch the topic to using manual flash power selection: does anyone use
it ? On my 550EX the manual flash power can be set from full to 1/128. I
haven't experimented with it yet, but it might be an easy way (at least
easy to understand) to use fill-flash. First select a suitable exposure
for the whole picture and then use 1/32 flash to fill the shadows on a
persons face etc. Maybe I should try it and report back :-)
