You are correct, of course. The data to support this is at that
Lightning Trigger website:

The "automatic" mode shutter delay for the Elan IIe and the EOS 1n
only differs by 5ms. I cannot figure out if "automatic" means
metering only, or if it includes autofocus too.
There is reported to be a larger difference between the camera
models when using "manual" mode.
