Manual mode: That is what I will be using  ;o)

I stated last time why AF / metering is a complete non-starter.  For
the most part it will be prefocus.
Even if someone felt AF was OK:  it would be a smart trigger indeed
that waited till *both* bodies had metered and focussed before
delivering the "full press" to take the frames.  Can you imagine:
left eye camera somehow focuses and fires:  10 seconds later the
right-eye camera is still whirring all the way out to infinity and
back trying to find the humming bird that left ... 9.8 seconds ago
;o)


I expect differences are small compared to attempting to press two
back-to-back releases simultaneously.
