But I never heard anyone mention incompatibility between 1(n) and
*any* generation of Sigma lenses....not just the newer Sigma lenses,
launched *after* the camera....
Note that *if* my assumption is correct, I still have no clue whether
it is intentional by Canon....they *do* have more reason to make the
lower-grade bodies incompatible with Sigma, just as they have some
reason *not* to make it incompatible with the top-end models (unless
they start making a circular fisheye!....;))
