Ah, I stand corrected. In MacOS and Windows 2000, the camera does not mount to the desktop. Those clever folks at Microsoft have apparently written a driver for Windows XP that lets it work like a drive. I've always thought that was a good feature of the Olympus cameras that they mount directly.
