I wonder about that. I mean say you're in Cambodia shooting Ankor and you get
ripped off for a lens. Is your insurance company going to just take your story
and give you a cheque for a new lens? It's not like in a civilized country where
they'd contact the police, you'd make a police report, etc.

I've been there and done that. I no longer do it. I'm sure there are some here
who do take any vacation as a serious photo op, but I don't. It requires too
much equipment to make it fun. Some vacations of course can be different.
