My A & P has inspected my coupe to day and passed with flying colors with
the e3xception of the wing AD .  We still need to do the wing center
section inspection,  as he did not have his scope with him and will not be
able to get back until the first of next week. He approves of the MLG
rebuild and is willing to sign it off but has a problem with the lack of a
STC referance on the 337 sample from WI. supplied with the new stop
bushing to raise the tail,  from Skyport. He indicates from past experance
with the Baltimore GATO office it won't fly without a STC and Skyport
doesn't have it. Any ideas how to deal with this STC problem. 
By the way  I had no trouble getting to the owner of Skyport today and
during the coarse of our conversation he indicated the business was for
sale and could be bought for around $ 70,000.00. He indicated the value
his on hand  stock exceeded the asking price and he indicated he is
clearing in excess of $40,000 a year. I also got the impression that there
might be room for some negotation. Wish I was 20 years younger I would be
tempted
