Well, you've done the rest of the system. How about the ignition switch? Maybe jury-rig a couple of simple toggle switches to the left and right mag. A slightly shorted ignition switch might cause the problem. What happens if you reverse the wiring to the plugs between the left and right mag? Does the problem move to the other mag?
