My point was that the most expeditious way to get a pilots license in a coupe without restrictions may be to not ask so many questions. There are clearly folks out there who took their check ride in a coupe without any restrictions being put on their license. Examiners I have talked to tell me in the oral exam and check rides they are basically trying to figure out if you are going to be a safe pilot. My suggestion would be to give them a chance to do that and don’t force them to add restrictions that they otherwise may not be inclined to add. Again, I’m sure this is a minority view.
