Hi Stephen P. King

How can you know that the simulation is exact ?
Solipsim prevents that.

And who or what experiences the computer output ?

Hi Roger,

If we accept that the content of an experience can be exactly duplicated by a sufficiently powerful computer, we have accepted that they are the same thing. This is not to say that conscious experience is itself "just a computation", no. There is a difference between the simulability of an experience and the sense of being in the experience that is the 1p.
