As a bear of little brain I tend to get a bit touchy about feeling I've been misunderstood, or (especially) thought to have professed views I don't hold, or wasn't holding at that point. Yes, there is a pronoun problem here - one normally overcomes this particular problem by using "one" :-) And yes I think we more or less agree on this one - intuition isn't too reliable when you're dealing with the consciousness that may or may not be embedded in books the size of the universe... (Sheesh! My friends would worry for my sanity if they knew I discuss things like this!
