Gödel seemed to have been a bit terrorised to say one word about quantum 
mechanics, by its dear friend Einstein who was rather susceptible on this 
question.

He might have secretly appreciate the Wigner theory with a collapse of the wave 
made by consciousness, but perhaps not. 

Gödel missed Mechanism, confuse it perhaps with materialism (like Hao Wang did 
explicitly)  and did not show much interest in the foundation of physics. He 
wrote a paper in GR, just to illustrate his feeling that time is a complete 
illusion, even more illusory that Einstein thought.

It is sometimes harder to discuss deep questions with friends, because we don’t 
want to hurt them.
