Truly. Patanjali is a good example--after all one of the names for the
YS is samkhya-pravachana ('the enunciation of Samkhya').

What I was saying was the M.'s definition of turiyatita (CC) varies
from how it is described by the tradition he claims to come from. This
is significant since one is left to wonder 'why the disparity?'. It
seems clear, if you were not going to teach a complete path to
enlightenment, but instead a simple form of McMeditation, easily
dispensed for mass distribution, if this simple form of meditation does
not lead to full enlightenment one way to hide the disparity is to
change what enlightenment--in this case "CC"--means. Change the
definition and then indoctrinate based on that definition. And it
appears that is what he has done. Make it appear minor so that the
results from your product match the alleged result. As Lawson points
out "glorified ignorance" is what M. calls it.
Apparently you CAN for a lot of the people a lot of the time. Esp. if
they're westerners.
More later.
