Hi,

I more or less agree with this thread with the following comments.
I don't believe MMY is fully enlightened;
but he is a very great Siddha with a very powerful mind
and a powerul EGO.

I have read several stories( by Amma ) about the great sage
Vishwamitra and his problems with his great spiritual ego
during the phase that he was called Maharishi.

Maharishi Vishwamitra was doing fine when his eyes were closed
and he was doing great austerities;
But with eyes open he often cursed others and he even wanted
to create another world more to his liking.

He also wanted to kill the great sage Brahmarishi Vasishta
because he of egoic jealousy.
One day, Brahmarishi Vasishta melted Maharishi Vishwamitra's heart
who instead of killing prostrated at his feet totally surrendering
his EGO.
Then, Brahmarishi Vasishta lifting Maharishi Vishwamitra up
gave him a hug and said "NOW you are a Brahmarishi."

If you notice, MMY 20 steps of ayurveda which includes TM does not
iclude Love, Bhakti, Bhajans and SEVA( selfeless service ) all of
which are the core of Amma's teachings by example of Her life.

namasivaya,
