??? Wht part of "the government will not establish" do you not understand?

The correct words are :Congress shall make no *law* respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the *free* exercise thereof; or abridging the *freedom of speech*, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. There never has been a law made by congress establishing a religion but we had free exercise thereof for almost 200 years. What changed that all the sudden one couldn't *freely exercise thereof *since 1960 on federal property, it was allowed before and still is in Congress and in other government business.
