Interesting. I haven't noticed a program recently that doesn't do it. Can
you point me to a popular one? I just tried the stuff on my quick-launch
bar, and Cool Edit, Pagemaker, Paint Shop Pro, Sonar, and Finale all do that.

They do from here, but only with the first letter cycling through the list.
(On state lists, I tab to the field and touch "V" and always get Vermont.
It's a long way down the list otherwise!)
