Yes, it cycles through all the V's. This behavior was particularly handy
when entering ID3 information on MP3 files, where there are so many
categories.

My wife and radio show co-host are my small test pool for these questions.
I tried a "did you know?" and neither was aware of this feature, which is
why I mentioned it here for the problem of choosing one font when there are
hundreds available.
