You can duplicate the object (shift-d) and reverse the normals inside
(ctrl-shift-n)

When doing a mirror or rotation, you then have to 'apply size/rot' with
ctrl-a
Then, in face mode, you have to correct the normals (if you use negative
size
to do a mirror) with ctrl-n or ctrl-shift-n.

In face mode, you can select as many faces as you want by either pressing
'a' for
all or shift-right clicking on the faces. Then, in the 'u' menu, option
'from window', you can copy the face geometry to the texture window. You
will
see dotted lines in this latter window.

You can also move the vertices in the texture window by selecting then with
right-click, shift-right-click or 'b'. Then hit 'g', 's' or 'r' to move,
size
or rotate the texture coordinates.

Pressing alt-z in the 3D window will show you the textured model.
