As mentioned above, I did notify the developers. One application was MailSmith, which just got moved from Bare Bones Software to a new company run by one of MailSmith's developers, and updated to a new version. I did contact the developer and got a reply. He indicated that he will investigate, but can't make any promises, as he doesn't have a G3 for testing. I was just trying it out, and so have no vested interest in a fix. No mention in the support forum, as far as I have seen, so the user base appears to have not noticed. The developer has other things to work on to satisfy his customers at the moment, but it will be interesting to see if the descriptive information on the web site changes. The other one I think I will keep private for the moment. The 10.6 compatibility update to the software was announced only this morning as a beta to a user group mailing list, and in response to my note, the developer has solicited feedback about G3 usage from the group. A dialog is ongoing. I think it would be impolite a this point to publicly comment about a product update that is not officially released. - Don --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
