Yes, this is going to be a big problem as Snow Leopard phases out the G3 CPU support. When Unsanity released their new FruitMenu back in June they used the new compiler and lost G3 support, but since then they've issued another version that restores G3 support. In the long run, it's going to be a mess, and someone needs to start a list of the "final" versions of applications that support the G3 CPU. For instance, Skype dropped G3 support over two years ago, and discovering which version was the final version that supports a G3 is a pain, and then you have to locate that old version of the software.
