Thanks for this, Bruce. Is it safe to say that, after installing Mozilla
1.3.1, I will be able to use Yank to get rid of my Netscape 4.75? I thought
there may be some comingling, but apparently this is not so. I would keep
the old Netscape until I can figure out how to export its bookmarks into
either Mozilla or iCab, which I also plan to try.

If you had netscape 4.75 installed when you installed 1.3.1, your bookmarks ought to have been transferred during the install.

Your bookmarks are in a file called bookmarks.html in System Folder:Preferences:Netscape Users:<username> IIRC.

Your address book, if you used their mail client, is in a file called abook.nab or abook.na2, depending on whether you installed 4.75 as an update to 4.08, or as a fresh install.

Dunno about Yank, I've never done anything but trash the Netscape application folder. In fact I've never used any 'uninstall' application on a Mac.
