Those are exactly the same ATI and GeForce extensions as in my 10.5.6
System; I can use both ATI and GeForce cards without any problems- as
noted above I do need to press the CUDA button when swapping a 4x ATI
Radeon 9000 with an 8x GeForce 7800 GS, otherwise I get a startup with
no video, just a black screen. Sounds a lot like the problem you
originally described.
