Thanks for cross-checking this.

I will try the CUDA (plus cmd/opt/p/r on first Startup after  
CUDA ???) and report back later.

I have done Repair Disk and Permissions from the Installation DVD,  
and would try again to use AppleJack on Single User Mode Startup, but  
cannot get a video screen at the time either ... strange, never been  
this hard before ... maybe the USB KB and / or a problem with my  
"programmable / non-volatile random access memory (PRAM/NVRAM) on the  
motherboard" ... quoting from a nearby thread ...

Maybe its just something as simple as CUDA again ...
