shotgun in battle, how is he supposed to win if the gun throw's him off

Actually muhamed, a shotgun would have considerably more recoil than, say,
a pistol... from what I know of them. I haven't actually fired one, but I
know enough about guns to say that.

Well, besides the fact a large sword or shotgun could throw off your
balance etc there are also other considerations. In the tomb rader
games when Lara jumps a chasm or jumps up to grab a ledge she needs to
grab the ledge with her hands and pull herself up onto the ledge. If
her hands aren't free to grab the ledge she'll drop like a stone into
the pit or miss the ledge. The same idea applies here in MOTA except
that Angela does this automatically instead of manually.

as in real life you can't probably jump over a pit if you are holding to
much.
Torches seem ok but you need a hand free if it makes sence.
