Drontal is Praziquantal and Pyrantel.  The Prazi is for the cestodes.  Pyrantel is for 
nematodes.  It is rarely used in place of the far more popular fenbendazole, but there 
is no reason that one could not use it in a herp.  Safety margin on both drugs is very 
wide.

I suspect that Don's experience with Droncit has been somewhat rough.  My experience 
in a very wide variety of herps has been quite positive.  I cannot say I could have 
ever attributed a death to the material.  Really sick gex dying after being de-wormed? 
 Yes, droncit killing an animal directly?  Nope.  The TI is something like 1-2 orders 
of magnitude.  Pyrantel is good for the same TI in some species.
