Nancy -- this has been a documented issue for some windows users. It has to do
with the left over folder contained in the program files(x86) folder. After
you uninstall GNUcash - I believe all you need to do it remove the Gnucash
folder that is located in the program files(x86) folder. By removing the
folder and then re-installing the program, it will work seamlessly.
Double check previous messages about this in the list to make sure I am correct
-- but I am pretty sure this is the solution. I have Windows 11 and have never
run into this issue -- but others on Windows have.

Subject [GNC] Help!
Today I received an email announcing a new version of gnucash (5.14) to
download, which I did and installed.
When I tried to run it I got 2 error messages:
First: "The procedure entry point clock_gettime32 could not be located in
the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\gnucash\bin\libstdc++-6.dll"
Second: "The code execution cannot proceed because libicuin76.dll was not
found. Reinstalling the program may fix this Problem"
I reinstalled the downloaded file, but got the same error messages.
I then reinstalled version 5.13, for which I still had the downloaded file
(and which had worked fine until I installed 5.13), and again got (only)
the Second message described above.
How do I regain access to the gnucash program to update my file??
