I just checked out the doco on how you use SOAP calls to ESRI ArcWeb
Services to create a thematic map with your own data.  I might have a
go at something similar for Google Maps, maybe starting with County
boundaries.  It would use an ajax function to send your data and
symbology as xml, with return value of a map identifier to be used in
a custom map tile layer.
